Robin Lee Hatcher has created the sweetest romance in her novella, A Wish and A Prayer. This story is fun, with a touch of whimsy and it just plain makes ya feel good. Felicity Blessing is a seamstress, thirty years of age – and she considers herself a spinster! She has lived in the same house all of her life, and in my opinion, even though it is small, it sounds like a comfortable home. I think sometimes, the most comfortable homes are small. I digress. Angel is her interesting cat. Prescott Jones and his partner Walt have purchased property to build a cannery and Miss Felicity’s home stands in the way. Miss Felicity refuses to sell. Prescott decides to ride out to visit Miss Felicity in hopes of convincing her to sell her home. And so begins the tender romance of Prescott and Felicity – and a very involved cat! I thought it was well written! I loved it. Happy reading!
