“Between Us Girls,” by Sally John.

“Between Us Girls” is a refreshing read, with a steady easy pace. The story is set in Illinois and California. The characters are nice – that’s right, nice.

Jasmyn is the victim of a tornado. After the tornado devastates her home, she travels to a picturesque seaside village in California, where she meets interesting and loveable characters. and I was her cheerleader. Yup, funny but true, I was encouraging her from the sidelines, cheering her on to a wonderful future. During the story we meet Liv, Samantha, Keagan, Beau, Chad along with several others who live in this lovely oasis.

Back in Illinois we have the comical Quinn and of course, Danno.

I thought “Between Us Girls,” was a story about relationships, not just any relationships, but  the type where connections are made, people are safe and loved. Hearts are healed, faith is renewed and refreshed and there is romance in the air.
