“The Greek Interpreter,” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

I was surprised! “The Greek Interpreter,” is the first Sherlock Holmes mystery I have read, where Holmes mentions a grandmother and a brother! I don’t recall Holmes ever mentioning relatives in other stories. Who knew? Holmes grandmother was the sister of a French artist and Mycroft Holmes is Sherlock’s brother! The brothers have a good relationship.
