Come on in and give a big SHOUT OUT to Aerykah! 🙂 So, without further ado – here’s Aerykah!

1.) How long have you blogged and why do you blog?

Answer: I actually hadn’t thought about it until you asked so I had to check. 😉 My first post was Nov. 7, 2011 – that was almost 4 years ago! I started blogging because I thought it might help get my creative juices flowing and improve my writing. It has done that, I think. And I continue blogging because I have found that I really enjoy it a lot! 🙂

2.) What is your favorite genre?

Answer: -Gosh, um . . . Historical fiction, probably. though I also love contemporary fiction. And I really love a good suspenseful thriller! And romance too, of course. You see why I have trouble answering that question? 😛

3.) What are you reading right now?

Answer: (This list may have changed by the time you publish this post, though. 🙂 )

4.) You are going to meet your favorite fictional character at a local coffee shop. You can visit with this fictional character for one hour. Who are you going to meet and why? What are you going to talk about?

Answer:  -Well, for starters . . . this gal ain’t meeting anyone at a coffee shop! Lol! Can’t stand coffee in any form. So. Let’s say we’re meeting pretty much any place else and we’ll go from there, shall we? 😉 But I still have no idea who to choose. Probably Elizabeth Bennett. Because I have always loved her as a character and I would otherwise never be able to pick a favorite. Hehe! 🙂 Books of course! After all she has improved her mind by extensive reading so I’m sure we would find much to talk about! 😉

5.) If you could live inside a fictional story, which book would you live in and why?

Answer: – Okay, Let me think about this. Maybe . . . the Walker Family series by Melissa Tagg (no particular book). Thought I definitely prefer living down south, Maple Springs, Iowa seems like a great place and I think it would be nice to have the Walker family as friends.:)

6.) Has one fictional character ever inspired you? Who was this character and how did he or she inspire you?

Answer: – I have been inspired in so many ways by the characters I’ve read over the years. . . One book that comes to mind that I read a few months ago is: Sabotaged by Dani Pettrey. I was going through some things in my life and something about this story really spoke to me in a personal way. I would say that Reef and Kirra inspired me to be more patient in waiting on God’s timing in every area of my life. Here’s what I put in my review:

One thing that really stuck out to me: Reef and Kirra had known each other practically their entire lives, but God didn’t bring them together right away. Even though God may have two people “picked out” for each other, they still aren’t right for each other until the time is right and they are where they need to be and following God’s will. And this goes for so many other areas of our lives as well. Just because something may be right and even right for us, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t wait on God’s timing.

7.) You are stranded on the North Pole for one year. You have shelter, plenty of food, water and warm clothing. You are allowed to have one book. Which book are you going to have with you on the North Pole to read for that long 365 days?

Answer: –Why? Why, or why, would you banish me to the North Pole? I’m getting cold just thinking about it. And I hate cold . . .*sniffle* 😦 But if I have to spend an entire year there . . . and could only take one book. . . I would take my Bible. 🙂 Though my second choice would be Pride and Prejudice. 🙂
