“The Christmas Shoppe,” by Melody Carlson

Oh my goodness. A stranger (Matilda) has wandered into the small town of Parrish Springs, purchasing a building right on the main street. Well, she isn’t the only person interested in this building. Not only is she a stranger, her manner of dress is quirky and she seems to be opening a less than ideal business. However, as the citizens of this community wander into her store, change takes place, and the residents of Parrish Springs find healing.

I liked it. Melody Carlson writes the sweetest faith based Christmas stories. This one has a mysterious quality in it that I really enjoyed. The books I’ve read, written by this author, make me feel good and they are festive, magical and full of wonder.

The Christmas Shoppe has a publication date of 2011, so you may have already read it, however, if you have, read it again. :)Enjoy! Let me know which books by Melody Carlson you’ve read, I’d like to hear from you.
