Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by http://www.booksandabeat.com
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read.
- Open to a random page.
- Share two or three *teaser* sentences from somewhere on that page.
- Be careful not to include spoilers (make sure that what you share doesn’t give to much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!
Share the title and the author too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!
“The Butterfly’s Daughter,” by Mary Alice Monroe caught my eye at the book store. I liked the title, the cover and the description of the story on the back of the book. And! At the beginning of each chapter there is information * a brief paragraph* about the Monarch butterfly. I like this story. 🙂
“She heard the tapping noise again. Lifting her head, she followed the sound to the windows that opened up to the back porch – Abuela’s workroom. She felt a chill travel down her spine when she spied the unmistakable shadow of tiny wings frantically beating against the glass.”
