The book is always better than the movie, but they did a fine job with this film. I’m laughing as I look at this photo from the movie. Sometimes it truly amazes me how film makers bring the characters from a book, and the story, to life on the big screen. Apparently this is an Academy Award winning film. Rick and I watched it a few days ago and I’m still chuckling to myself. The movie is a 2 DVD set and there is an intermission!

Ooooh! I’ve watched the Pierce Brosnan adaption and the Jackie Chan one too … I didn’t even know that David Niven stared in an adaption! Will have to check it out …
