Tuesday teaser is a weekly book meme hosted by booksandabeat
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read.
- Open to a random page.
- Share two or three *teaser* sentences from somewhere on the page.
- Be careful not to include spoilers ~ make sure what you share doesn’t give to much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!
Share the title and the author too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teasers.
Without further ado ~
I have read “Jane Eyre,” by Charlotte Bonte several times, although I haven’t read it in awhile. It is definitely one of my favorite classic stories and a fave forever! 🙂
“A Christmas frost had come at midsummer; a white December storm had whirled over June; ice glazed the ripe apples, drifts crushed the blowing roses; on hayfield and cornfield lay a frozen shroud: lanes which last night blushed full of flowers, to-day were pathless with untrodden snow; and the woods, which twelve hours since waved leafy and fragrant as groves between the tropics, now spread, waste, wild, and white as pine-forests in wintry Norway.”
Happy Reading! Enjoy!
