Waiting On Wednesday ~

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme to spotlight and talk about the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they are books that have yet to be released. This is hosted by Breaking the Spine, but I discovered itΒ at ~

Check out Rissi’s blog. She’s got a great blog!

I really like this idea, so I thought I would give it a try/ I don’t know if I’ll do it every week. I’ll see how it goes. πŸ™‚

I love kids books! They have so much adventure and they are fun! Katie Shaeffer Pancake Maker is going to be released in just a few days and I am looking forward to it. I pre-ordered it! πŸ™‚

Cynthia Mackey is the author and you can find her at ~

Paula Nasmith is the illustrator and you can find her at ~

“Katie is to young to use the stove so she dreams of making her very own pancakes. Join Katie and her friend Baxter in this fun story as they use their passion for collecting and building to find a way to realize Katie’s pancake dream.” ~goodreads

Let me know your thoughts. Do you read and enjoy kids books??? I’d love to hear from you. Happy Reading!

  1. I love looking at kids books. I think it’s the vivid illustrations and simplicity that beckons me to take a look since the world can be so complicated and stressful at times.

  2. I think I’ve mentioned before (or maybe not) my favorite children’s book is a picture book called “Tuesday.” I found it when I took children’s lit in college, the second time through. I pull it out and look through it again every once in a while and still enjoy it. Yes, I went out and bought my own copy. πŸ™‚
