I love this movie! It is so much fun. I laughed and sang with the performers! If you haven’t seen it, and you like a good, fun movie, you might want to try this one! 🙂
Three sailors, Gabbey (Gene Kelly), Chip (Frank Sinatra) and Ozzie (Jules Munshin), have twenty-four hours to see New York City. Not to long after they leave the ship they meet the ladies! The cab driver, Brunhilde Esterhazy (Betty Garrett) falls for Chip! The anthropologist, Claire (Ann Miller) pairs up with Ozzie and Gabbey falls in love with the dancer, Ivy Smith (Vera Ellen).
The six of them have a fun-filled night, which will be remembered forever!
Gene Kelly was such a great entertainer. He was relaxed, suave and comfortable in his own skin when he danced! My husband refers to Gene Kelly as, “the dancin’ man.” They were all great!
Have you seen On the Town? I’d like to hear from you. 🙂
Love Gene Kelly 🙂

Great musical. Love it so much. So many toe tapping songs too.
AWWW! I saw part of this YEARS ago, and now I cannot remember if I ever finished it. Seeing this now makes me want to. 🙂
