Tuesday Teaser is a weekly meme.
Anyone can play along! just do the following ~
- Grab your current read.
- Open to a random page.
- Share two or three *teaser* sentences from somewhere on that page.
- Be careful not to include spoilers ~ make sure what you share doesn’t give to much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others.
Share the title and the author too; so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teasers.
Without further ado ~
“The Curate of Glaston,” by George MacDonald is my favorite book by this author. This isn’t the first time I’ve read this story and it won’t be the last time either. 🙂
“The house was not one of those trim modern park lodges, all angles and peaks, but a low cottage, with a very thick thatch into which rose two astonishing eyebrows over the stare of two half-awake dormer windows. On the front of it were young leaves and old hips enough to show that in summer it must be covered with roses.”
