Good morning! Happy Day to all of you. It’s cold, that’s right, cold here. It snowed, just a dusting, sometime early yesterday morning, whilst I was still sleeping! Shocking! But of course, it’s snug in our house ~ cold outside, snug inside makes for great reading time. 🙂 As many of you know, I’ve been rereading books this year. Last month, didn’t go to well, but this month is so much better! YAY! October was a great month for reading. Without further ado, here are my rereads for October ~
“What?” the girl was clearly dumbfounded. “Well — of all the poor fish! If I’d committed the murder, I wouldn’t go straight off and give myself up.” ~Murder at the Vicarage by Agatha Christie
“The first person we saw when we arrived at End House that evening was Nick. She was dancing about the hall wrapped in a marvelous kimono covered in dragons.” ~Peril at End House, by Agatha Christie
“Pongo performed his job neatly and efficiently. Cautiously opening the bedroom door, he disappeared into the darkness inside bearing the two largest clocks.” ~The Seven Dials Mystery, by Agatha Christie
“Then Aragorn stooped and looked in her face, and it was indeed white as a lily, cold as frost, and hard as graven stone. But he bent and kissed her on the brow, and called her softly, saying: Eowyn Eomund’s daughter, awake! For your enemy has passed away!” ~The Return of the King, by J.R.R. Tolkien
Enjoy!
I adore seeing so many Agatha Christie books in the same month. Good job!
Thanks.
