The New Year Book Tag
Good morning Peoples! I found a book tag! YAY! I like tags. I wasn’t tagged by anyone, however, I found this tag at Kristen’s blog. The link to Kristen’s blog is below. The New Year Book Tag was created by Heather at Bookables!ย ๐
How many books are you planning to read in 2020?
Probably 50.ย ๐
Name five books you didn’t get to read in 2019, but want to make a priority in 2020?
~ The VanDerbeekers to the Rescue by Karina Yan Glaser
~ On a Summer Tide by Suzanne Woods Fisher
~ Almost Home by Valerie Fraser Luesse
~ Last Christmas in Paris by Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb
~ The Fall of Gondolin by J.R.R. Tolkien
Name a genre you want to read more of in 2020?
I like a good adventure story. Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs is one of my favorite novels. I would enjoy reading more adventure stories.
Three non-book related goals for 2020 ~
Gardening. I would like to plant a few sunflowers and spruce up our backyard. I’m not very good at gardening, I call myselfย The Struggling Gardener,ย I will give it a good try this spring and summer.
My desk is always on my non-book related goals.
I don’t like to cook, but it might be nice to try one new recipe a month. I can do that.ย ๐
What’s a book you’ve had forever that you still need to read?
I would like Rick and I to read out loud together,ย Till We Have Faces by C. S. Lewis.
One word that you’re hoping 2020 will be ~
Refreshing.
If you would like to participate in this New Year Book tag, please do, consider yourself tagged.ย ๐
Happy Reading!
So glad you did this tag!
Gardening is such a great goal! I would love to spend some time this year sprucing up my backyard and making is a cozy place to be.
Good luck on your reading this year! ๐
