Hello Peoples! It’s time for a Classics Club Spin. I enjoyed participating in the last spin, so I was looking forward to this one and it has arrived! 🙂 All I need to do is create a post listing twenty books from my Classics Club List. On Sunday, August 9th, a number will be posted on the Classics Club website. I’m to read the book that falls under that number before September 30, 2020. The twenty books from my list are listed below. The link to their website is ~

What a great list, so much variety! You have so many of my favorite books and authors — The Grand Sophy is a delight, and Oliver Twist is one of my favorite Dickens. I also loved the Willa CAthers and the Wilkie Collins. Wide Sargasso Sea is also wonderful, I’m guessing you’ve read Jane Eyre already. Good luck with your spin pick!
Hi. It’s nice to meet you. 🙂 Thanks so much. Yes, I have read Jane Eyre ~ three times! It’s one of my favorites. 🙂
Happy to see Willa Cather on your list! I also enjoyed the Wilkie Collins novels and The Count of Monte Christo. Hope you enjoy whichever book you end up reading!
Hi. It’s nice to meet you. Thanks for visiting my blog and your kind words. 🙂
Lots of good ones! I have yet to read any Georgette Heyer but I love Jane Austen so she’s been recommended many times. 🙂
Georgette Heyer is so much fun! 🙂
I can’t wait to give her a try! Any I should specifically start with??
Hi! The Foundling or The Reluctant Widow! Loved them both! If you want to try her mysteries, I’d read Footsteps In the Dark or Why Shoot a Butler? Happy Reading. 🙂
Thank you! I’ll look for those 😊👏🏻
