End of November Ramblings ~

Hello Peoples! Monday is the last day in November! Can you believe it??? I know! We had a pleasant Thanksgiving. We ate food, watched movies, laughed and enjoyed the day. I don’t eat meat, so I didn’t gobble๐Ÿ˜‰ the turkey, however, I love stuffing. I ate a considerable amount of stuffing. We ordered the pumpkin pie from my favorite bakery and it was great! YUMMY! How was your Thanksgiving? What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? Do you have a favorite Thanksgiving memory, past or present? Please share it.

  1. Sounds like you had a very nice Thanksgiving! We did as well.

My favorite Thanksgiving food?? That’s a hard one. I think I like the combination of everything together: Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberries. To me that tastes like Thanksgiving. And the pie ๐Ÿ™‚ We had pumpkin and apple. I can’t decide which is my favorite!

My favorite Thanksgiving memories are of when our kids were young and my sister-in-law and brother-in-law and their kids would come and spend a few days. On Thanksgiving day, everybody was here; my parents, my husband’s parents, my sister, and other family members. Just being together was such fun. I have similar memories from when I was a child and we would spend the holiday with my grandparents, aunt and uncle and cousins. Such fun!

    Enjoy your decorating!

  2. I like turkey and stuffing at Thanksgiving. I don’t miss it the rest of the year. My dad wanted pumpkin pie, so I made it. I also like rolls but decided to try biscuits, and with the help of Becky at “The Hillbilly Kitchen,” I made delicious biscuits.
