Hello Peoples! We are in a blizzard warning. The wind is horrible. The wind gusts are up to 60 miles per hour. Brrr. The warning is suppose to end this morning. It did snow yesterday. I’ll be staying home today, snug and warm, all rolled up like a burrito. I baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies yesterday. So good!

Oh my word! We have a black squirrel in our backyard. He is so wonderful. He is the first black squirrel I’ve ever seen. He’s as black as charcoal! I’ve seen gray squirrel and brown squirrel but never black squirrel. Have you ever seen a black squirrel???

I finished reading Under the Cajun Moon by Mindy Starns Clark. I liked it. It’s a murder mystery, a treasure hunt and so much more. The reader is transported to New Orleans. The author described the culture, the food and the great people so well. It’s also educational! 😲 Highly recommend!

Currently, I’m reading Jocelyn by Sarah Monzon. It’s a cute romantic comedy.
Have a great day! Stay warm!
Much love ~
Kathy
It’s a good day to stay home and stay warm. I have seen black squirrels and even white squirrels. Have you seen white squirrels?

No, I’ve never seen a white squirrel.
One of my friends has several black squirrels and shared that it’s a genetic mutation and found most often in the eastern gray squirrel and the fox squirrel. (That last bit I learned looking them up on duckduckgo.)
I did not know that. How interesting. Thanks for sharing.
