The Anonymous Bookaholics Tag

Hello Peoples! It’s a beautiful day! Rick and I went out for breakfast and then to the grocery store. Many of our neighbors are outside working in their yards this morning. It’s a great day for it. I’m enjoying a loose leaf English Breakfast tea.

That’s right . . . I’m jumping into another book tag. I found this fun tag at Whispering Stories. Click on the link below ~

Drum roll please ~ Here we go!

~ What do you like about buying books?

Good question. I like browsing. I do. I look for new to me authors and adventurous stories. I do like buying the book. I can loan it to friends and read it again and again without concern for a return due date. Adding new books to my ever growing pile is always fun. Yes, I can read them at my leisure.

~ How often do you buy books?

Often. I look for sales and used books, however, I purchase new books every two weeks or every month. I’m so random at buying books it’s difficult to say. We have plenty of little free libraries in our area, so, occasionally I find a book I want to read in the little free libraries.

~ Bookstore or online shopping: which do you prefer???

Bookstore!!!

~ Do you have a favorite bookshop?

No, however, I do prefer searching throough used bookstores.

~ Do you pre-order books?

No, not usually.

~ Do you have a monthly buying limit?

No, but I do limit myself at times.

~ How big is your wishlist?

I don’t really have a wish list. I do have a TBR list on goodreads.

~ What three books from your wish list do you wish you owned right now???

Airs Above the Ground by Mary Stewart. I have read this book, but I don’t own it and I would like to own it in hardcover.

My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier. I want to read this for the Classics Club.

Stone and Sunset by Sibella Giorello. This is one of the books in the Raleigh Harmon mysteries. I like that series and this is the only book I haven’t read.

Have a great day! Happy Reading!!!

Much love ~

Kathy

  1. Interesting! I enjoyed reading your responses to these questions. I get most of the books I read from the library, but I can see the positives of purchasing the books you read. At times the library feels overwhelming because there is so much to choose from! Ha! A happy problem to have.
